Return Policy
Just like other living and perishable friends, at least one of your plants will inevitably be affected by a pest or disease. Though we will always be here as plant doctors and nurses to diagnose and treat your friends, the care, planting/potting, and continued nurturing of your plants is first and foremost, your exciting new responsibility.
We aim to arm new plant parents with as much information and guidance as possible, but pay close attention after bringing them home, noting the presence of pests, changes in leaf color, loss of leaves, etc. Over time, it becomes difficult to diagnose the cause of a plant’s failure, so ask questions while you shop and get to know them before you buy.
TO RETURN HEALTHY PLANTS
Must be returned within 48 hours of purchase
Full refund or exchange will be given if still in sellable condition
No damage (pest, mechanical, or otherwise)
Still in original pot and not planted
TO RETURN PLANTS WITH SUSPECTED PEST ISSUE
If an insect population develops within 7 days of purchase, and the plant has been watered and cared for properly, please contact us
Our staff will assess if the pest can be treated easily, or determine if a refund is warranted
If you have older plants, or plants from another shop that you would like to troubleshoot, we will happily and virtually identify and diagnose problems via virtual consultation.
TO RETURN HARD GOODS
Must be returned within 30 days of purchase
Must be in sellable condition
No damage, unopened and in its original packaging
Purchases made with cash must have receipt
Purchases made with a credit card must have receipt or the card
URBAN EARTH HAS THE RIGHT TO DENY ANY RETURN EVEN IF THIS POLICY HAS BEEN UPHELD
Holds
If you are wanting to hold a plant or product please call the shop. We are able to hold items for a maximum of 5 days. All holds must be paid for in advance, with the exception of same day holds. Same day holds will be held until the end of business day, then put back into inventory the following day.
